Be a part of the longest, largest, and oldest bike ride in the world! RAGBRAI is a mecca for cyclists all over the world. Of course, you love cycling! But if you also like music, pork chops, homemade pie and ice cream, you can’t miss the RAGBRAI experience!
Prior to the ride, the RAGBRAI Expo hosts a plethora of vendors for bike enthusiasts. You won’t want to miss this Iowa event, which is accompanied by other music and entertainment!
Those who wish to participate in RAGBRAI tradition will begin the first day by dipping their back tires in the Missouri river on the western side of Iowa, at the official dip site. Then, upon reaching the Mississippi in the east, riders can again dip their front tires to complete the ceremonial tradition.
As thousands of riders make their way across Iowa, the hosting towns provide amazing food, including world’s best pork chops, homemade pies, and ice cream. And the entertainment is fun and often unique. Events from recent years include toilet tossing, human Foosball, midget wrestling, and water slides.
Interested? Well, Padre’s Cycle Inn is at your service! We strive to make your experience hassle-free. We offer tent and hospitality services, as well as optional round-trip motor coach service out of St. Louis, MO to the start town and from the end town.
We'll work with Northern Exposure for showers when we're unable to be at a location where real plumbing is not on site. Our goal is to have showers within a block of every campsite or closer.
