For 2026, we will be supporting five favorite events, as well as hosting our second annual Katy Trail Cycling Vacation! We're excited to open up registration for most events on January 1, 2026, and our Katy Trail is already open.
May
Our season starts at Pedaler's Jamboree, a two-day cycling event on the Katy Trail, packed with live music and entertainment. This 65-mile event is a great way to start your cycling season and a great way to spend your Memorial Day weekend. Registration opens January 1.
June
In June, we'll be supporting Bike Ride Across Georgia (BRAG). Check out their site on January 1 for the 2026 route announcement! This seven-day event includes an optional mid-week layover day, when you can choose to ride the optional loop or check out recommended sites. BRAG includes live music and entertainment in the evenings, a daily, energizing group start, and a fantastic culminating last day party. Registration opens January 1.
July
Our most popular event is RAGBRAI, which takes place the last full week of July every year - we're an official RAGBRAI charter. This event cannot be fully described in words. It's an event you have to see to believe. It's the fastest seven days on a bike you'll likely ever experience and never forget! If you've never done RAGBRAI, add this one to your bucket list. We will sell out! Registration opens January 1.
September
September is packed full of Padre's events. We'll start off in Michigan at the DALMAC. This event has three-day, four-day, and five-day options to suite your preference. We provide full-service camping on all three routes (4 West, 5 West, & 5 East). Michigan in September is beautiful. If you've never been, this is a great way to see the scenery, culminating at the beautiful Mackinaw Bridge. We will sell out FAST! Registration opens February 14.
Also in September, we'll be supporting the Bourbon Burn in Kentucky. This event starts and finishes in Lexington, where you'll ride rolling hills and a couple of steep climbs. All along, you'll experience the sights of beautiful horse farms and the state's capitol, while enjoying many of the distilleries in the region. This three-day event also includes meals, tastings, great SAG stops, and more! Registration opens January 1.
Last but not least, we'll host our second annual Katy Trail Cycling Vacation in mid-September. Unlike the other events, this event is developed and hosted completely by Padre's Cycle Inn. You'll enjoy six days and nights of lodging in hotels and inns, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, route guidance, sag stops & support, and the hospitality you expect from Padre's! Registration is open now!
We hope to see you on an event (or two) in 2026!
